Sunday Scriptures – Simple

Red crosses
But I’m afraid that as the snake by its trickery seduced Eve,
your minds may somehow be corrupted
and you may lose your simple and pure loyalty to Christ.

  1. Oh and our minds are so easily corrupted into turning our focus away from Him to the earthly distractions. We can at times be like sheep or ants that have ADD! scattering and skittering. Time with Him in prayer and seeking Him in the word is essential. Thank you for your post.

    1. Thanks, Kate, for this comment! Yes, it is so easy for anyone to find distraction and entrapment in the world, but how HARD it is to see that even inside the church, we avert our eyes from the truth and pursue “things” instead of running after Jesus! It’s ages old. Ages.

  2. OK lady. It’s maybe TOO simple, right?

Your snarky, spiritualistic, supercalafragalistic melis!!!! xoxox

Happy family day, and hopefully a day of rest for you. mel

    1. Hi, Mellis! 🙂
You’re right, sometimes we think if the answer seems easy, we must be wrong.
However, it’s like being a little child. He does everything for us.
Yes, I’ve had a great day of dropping all my busyness and soaking in His rest.
Thanks for your sweet, kind wishes, and I hope the same for you. ❤
