Sunday Scriptures – Peaceful

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone–
for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
This is good, and pleases God our Savior,
who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
For there is one God and one mediator between God an men, the man Christ Jesus,
who gave himself as a ransom for all men–the testimony given in its proper time.

  1. Kathy,

This is one of my FAVORITE parts of Mass; the call to prayer for all of the world leaders and that all of us hear our Gods call. I LOVE this!

Thank you for Brightening my day; as always!

    Joy to you!
    Jen

    1. Oh, Jen, thanks for this! Yes, the call that God extends to leaders and to all men to find the true truth is the most important thing, isn’t it. The Savior, the salvation, is all there is.
