He said, “Figuring out what I want to do next.”Just an artist with a louder paintbrush, he says.Definitely too loud for a baby!Such an adorable tot. You’ll knot escape the watchful gaze of a mama bear.“X” marks the spot for the tail, and the end of this photo tale.
I was so excited to be able to take photos of this artist

Loved what he created – and it will bring lots of admiration to the place where it is positioned. Thanks to both you and the artist for sharing this with us.
Ah, Colline! So glad to see you here! 🙂 And such an encouraging comment! Thanks! He was only half finished and I HAD to leave. He said he will add even “fur”. It should be an awesome piece. 🙂
Hello, Fergie, and welcome to Home’s Cool!
Yes, they say he IS super-talented. He says he’s been doing this for 25 years, half his life!
He also said his first sculpture was a mushroom, and a very poor one, at that. 😉
That is pretty darn cool. I couldnt help but think….I saw Madagascar 3 with my daughter last night and the relationship between King Julian and the circus bear was so hilariously sicko…I will never be able to look at a bear (even a wooden one) again the same.
Wow! That is great! 🙂
Thanks a million! And welcome to Home’s Cool! Hope you visit again, soon! 🙂

Perfect timing, i love to watch these guys 🙂
I never had, before, and always wondered how they did this. Such a small saw, not nearly as scary as I’d imagined. 🙂
That’s quite a talent with the chainsaw!

Thanks, Jim, and welcome to Home’s Cool! I haven’t seen that one, but this was my first time to watch such an artist at work. Cool. Yeh!
Was this near where you live? Very nice. Guess he just carved off everything that did not look like a bear.
Hey, Karen! Yes, about 1/2 hour away. I like your recipe for success, there. I think that’s what he did. 😉
AMAZING! Glad you took them.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thanks, so much, Francine, and welcome to Home’s Cool! I sure could use the encouragement! And blessings! Thanks, again!
Just love that bear!
Thanks, Jude, and welcome to Home’s Cool! 🙂
I kind of like the critter, myself! 😉
Beautiful work…I’m always amazed at what sculptors can do. You have captured the process well via photos!
Thanks, Jarm! I’m amazed, too — at him and at me! Usually I make a mess of a photo series. 🙂
What an incredible creation. I am hoping you will go back and take a shot when he is finished.
I hope I can go back, too. Perhaps I will be able, tomorrow.
Glad you stopped by and thanks for the kind words! 🙂
Those were very interesting pictures.
🙂
Glad you were in the right place at the right time.
Thanks, Sans! 🙂 Me too!
That’s so cool! You were definitely in the right place at the right time. The second caption is ingenious. God bless!
Hello, Star! Thanks for these kind words, and WELCOME to Home’s Cool! 🙂
It was an eerie feeling, sort of KNOWING I would need these photos. Doesn’t happen often. God bless you, too, and come back soon! 🙂
