In honor of the 400th anniversary of the translation of the Bible into English, commissioned by King James of England in 1611, and originally published by Robert Barker, printer to the King, I will use this version for the rest of this year in these posts. Editing sure has changed since then! Hope we can enjoy the quaint differences we find here and appreciate all that went into it.

This scripture is so true. When I was younger I did not care who I hurt or what the consequences were for me or for others. Now that I am older I see that doing good and giving a hand in hand. It seems that the Lord blesses those who bless others.
Oh, Jackie, Thank you for your candid response, here! I was like you, in my youth, giving my good parents such grief! And my siblings–they sure learned patience from me…
People often say, “The older I get, the smarter my parents get.” I know many people around me had bad parents, but mine were good and only lately have I seen how they tried to direct me to goodness, but I was so stubborn!.
