The very first of a very early blue lavender crop, glows against an immature bronze fennel, which also, almost appears blue. Gorgeous summer sunshine and glorious warmth to make them both grow huge this year. Love this great cure for the “blues”!

Absolutely gorgeous!!
Thanks so much! I love herbs and when they also can be pretty, I am elated! Glad you like this and thanks, so much, for the kind comments! 🙂
Gorgeous!
Thanks, Mel! I love it, myself! 🙂
I suspect you have a lovely garden if you have bronze fennel!
Oh, thanks, Gilly, for the vote of confidence, and I hope I will have that, someday, but last year’s heat really messed us up. We even lost about a third of the lavender, but this year’s crop looks extremely promising. Yay! I love landscaping with herbs and the fennel is smack in the middle of the lavender, next to a miniature pink rose that came with the property and I didn’t have the heart to dig out. Well, I could write a book about all my garden escapades, but won’t. 🙂
Thanks so much for coming by, and welcome to Home’s Cool. Hope you visit again!

Thanks for this kind remark, and welcome to Home’s Cool! 🙂
The picture of the lavender is excellent. It looks like an English Variety. I would say Grosso. Thank you so much.
You are completely welcome friend! 😀
