I am his and he is mine.
I am as tired as I look, here, but after two weeks of no rest, yet, I am beginning to feel better.
So much going on.
Bathroom repair necessitating my painting two walls.
Special events at church.
Taking a few short video courses.
Internet flailing. I think that must be an epidemic, as WordPress AND Social Triggers both have also played into my lateness, here, due to malfunctions. Ah, well.
Several large pieces of furniture vanishing when the last two left the nest, and needing replacements.
Empty rooms to spring clean. I know; it’s autumn.
And — drumroll, here — with moderate rains arriving, the blessings of mowing chores.
Still, this photo just gives me a glow. I seldom look this good, so I guess he brings out the best in me.
I’ll bet you are wore out but I love the picture of you and hubby. Empty nest syndrome doesn’t seem to disagree with you!! My best to the newlyweds!!
Thanks for your kind wishes! They are doing well, although STILL unpacking. Ha! We try not to be too present in their lives these days, but hope to have them to dinner, if our lives ever settle down. 🙂
Oh what a great picture!! You both look wonderful!! I just LOVE it!!!
Thanks so much! We had a great time, although I’d not want to LIVE that way! 😆
love the photo. we’ve had internet issues here, too. i think it IS an epidemic ;-). Now fall cleaning + mowing + painting walls and re-arranging rooms….exhausting, I know. But I always feel so renewed when re-arranging/de-cluttering and painting walls. It all looks so wonderful and fresh afterwards. What internet courses? Hoping you will pass along the link or teach us what you learned. Have a wonderful day, twin,
Renewed. Hmm. That just might be where I’m headed. I hope it.
I’ve been paying more attention to SocialTriggers.com and they offer lots, for free, but the course costs. It’s to help me advance my blogs to a state where I can expect to convert them to a few downloads or whatever it takes to impress a publisher, which will require my upgrading, but if it works, it will be worth it.
We shall see.
And all the commentors will be the determining factors! 😀
That’s a lovely picture 🙂
Thanks, Friend! 🙂
Awww that is so precious. You both look wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
Karen
Thanks, Karen! 🙂
You two look even cuter than the NEW bride and groom. Hugs.
Kara is absolutely beautiful and surpasses me in many other ways, too, which is as it should be, don’t you think?
Such a lovely picture.
I know how it feels to be that tired. Make sure you schedule some down time. Even God rested once a week.
As a preacher’s wife, I find Sundays the busiest day. It is hard, because actually, Monday is the busiest, with laundry and mowing. Except that Tuesday, with ironing and shopping is the most tiring. And Wednesday, with trying to catch up on all that moving jazz, of course ends with the mad rush back to church and late arrival home that night. And so it goes. 🙂
Not to complain.
Just not to rest, either! 😉
That spring/fall cleaning thing must be contagious. Today is painting day touch-ups in one bedroom that is being redone due to “missing” furniture and a bathroom. Another bedroom carries all the chaos from the reconstruction. Hoping to be finished before Thanksgiving. Wish I could be organized enough to have certain chores assigned to certain days. My daughter used to say in the world of personalities being squares, circles and triangles, her mother was a squiggle. Guess that explains it. The two of you are a beautiful couple.
DiAne
Ha! Assigning them and completing assignments are two different things! 😉
Thanks for stopping by, DiAne, and for these kind words! I know how you feel! 🙂
