Sunday Scriptures – Celebration

Rembrandt, The Return of the Prodigal Son, 166...
Rembrandt. The Return of the Prodigal

. . . the father said to his servants,”Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fatted calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found. So they began to celebrate.  –Luke 15:22-24

    1. Thanks so much for your kind words, and welcome to my site! You know, though, I cannot claim any credit for either the words or the painting. It is a lovely painting. I love almost anything Rembrandt did.
